About Laurie

Laurie was born and raised in the southern part of the San Joaquin Valley, in California. She started as a hobbyist, attending Tulare Western High. She graduated in her junior year with honors. During high school she took lessons from her father, Jerry Carriger, who is also a seasoned photographer. Laurie is currently living in England with her husband and their two wonderful sons.

While Laurie has excelled in several areas, her passion is in photography. She turned her passion into her profession in Anchorage in 2005. At which time her talent was recognized on a public spectrum. Laurie specializes in family based photography. She is especially good at working with infants and expectant mothers. She is always willing to try new ideas and all her portraits retain her fresh perspective on maternity, motherhood and the innocence of youth. Her photographs capture not only the image of your child, but also the wonderment that illuminates childhood. Laurie is very concerned with customer satisfaction which is why she works so closely with her patrons to make sure that any ideas they have when the session starts are in line with the end product.
